Join DCC to ring in 2024! We’ll celebrate the new year with a Sea to Summit Hike at Pigeon Hill Preserve.

Bring your snowshoes to Tide Mill Creek to explore the preserve in the winter. If conditions do not allow for snowshoeing, we will still hike the trails!

Come to Middle River Park and listen to a reading of the book Over and Under the Snow. We’ll start by reading this story aloud and then take a walk through the woods looking for evidence of winter adaptations.

Come learn about the secret lives of animals in winter! Join us at Machias River Preserve as we walk the trails and look for animal tracks with wildlife biologists from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
