Volunteers will meet at the deer wintering area at Machias River Preserve. Attendees will learn how to hinge cut trees in order to improve winter deer habitat. Limit 6.

What to bring: water and a snack. Tools and gloves will be provided by DCC, but participants may bring their own if you have them!

Date is subject to change due to weather conditions. If adverse weather conditions are predicted to occur during a volunteer day, an email notice will be provided with the rescheduled date no later than one day prior to the activity.
