Join DCC for a hike to the summit of Pigeon Hill in Steuben to observe the sunset in celebration of the summer solstice. Pigeon Hill is one of Maine’s highest points of coastal elevation east of Acadia National Park. The ledge summit that reaches 317 feet offers an incredible view of the peaks of Acadia National Park, and Petit Manan Island and lighthouse.

The trails at Pigeon Hill Preserve are steep and rocky. The hike down will be done in dim lighting; headlamps are strongly recommended. Please use your own judgment to decide if this is an event you can safely attend.
