Hike into History at Klondike Mountain

How did Klondike Mountain get its name? In 1897, two strangers checked into the Lubec Inn looking for a way to make a quick buck. They claimed that they could extract gold from seawater! Come learn this unique story and other facts regarding the history of Klondike Mountain including details about a historic family farm and remnants of a man-made dam seen from the summit overlook.

This history walk at Klondike Mountain will be led by DCC Board Vice President Robin Pinto. The event will be approximately 1.5 hours in length. Please register in advance.
