Join us for DCC’s annual Winter Family Fun Day on Saturday, February 22, from 10am-1pm at Middle River Park in Machias.

Leap into winter with: sledding, snowshoeing, a bonfire, hot dogs, s’mores, cocoa and more! Snowshoes will be available to folks to borrow. Bring your own tube, sled, or decorate your own cardboard box for the sledding contest! Your creativity is limitless! Cardboard box sleds MUST be made of cardboard. Papier-mâché, tape, glue, and paint are also permitted. Prizes will be awarded for best design and fastest down the hill! Register your sled at the registration table when you arrive.

This event will be held with or without snow. However, outdoor programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather. Updates will be posted on Facebook.
