Join us for the opportunity to work on your paddling skills during the off-season! During this workshop, we’ll practice essential self-rescues and assisted-rescue skills that enable you to help yourself and fellow paddlers if someone accidentally flips over. This workshop is a great opportunity for new and experience paddlers alike. Practice makes everything easier!

This workshop will be led by Registered Maine Guide Karen Beeftink. We will provide kayaks and other paddling equipment. You will be in and out of the water throughout the entire session, please plan to get wet!

When: January 28th, 2pm-6pm

Where: University of Maine Machias Pool, Machias
