Hello Birders! A birding walk is being hosted this year in conjunction with the Downeast Spring Birding Festival. Experienced guides Sallie and Bill Satterthwaite will lead the hike and provide insights into the types of birds that are found throughout the preserve. We will be hosting our annual Plant Sale at Michelle Cousineau’s Pottery Shop at 352 Rt. 1 in Whiting on Sunday, June 3rd from 11am – 2pm. Stop by and purchase some plants to help fill out your garden, learn more about the conservation efforts of DCC, and check out the pottery shop’s open house. 2018 has brought about a lot of change for DCC. We are in very exciting times here as we move forward with new staff and plan for the future! Join us to create this play, in the old mossy woods by Shamrock waterfalls. Here you will meet, costume, and entertain the fairies and trolls, build castles, and celebrate with fairy cake for all.
