Browney Island Cleanup 2020
A huge thank you is in order for all the volunteers who made the cleanup possible, MCHT and MITA staff and volunteers for providing boats and helping to organize the effort, and DEI for letting us drop a dumpster and shuttle trash to their facility.
August’s Featured Preserve: Machias River Preserve
Machias River Preserve is the largest property that DCC has protected to date, with a total of 917 acres. This property has a network of 5.5 miles of trail that visitors can explore and provides access to the Down East Sunrise Trail.
