Saying farewell to hard-working staff is never easy! Our Stewardship Director Kyle Winslow has recently accepted a new Land Steward position with Maine Coast Heritage Trust. Kyle has served DCC since summer of 2018 and his tireless work has led to many successes.
Kyle characterizes his decision to move on from DCC as bittersweet. “After 3 1/2 years with DCC, my time has come to move on. The transition comes with mixed emotions, as they often do. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with such a dedicated group of individuals, and am coming away from this experience better for it. It is humbling getting to really know an organization like DCC, especially the individuals behind the organization who have invested so much over the years to impact the conservation landscape here in Washington County. Thanks to the DCC board, committees, volunteers, members, landowners and staff who make this work happen; it’s been a pleasure!”
While his energy, passion, and drive will be missed, Kyle has done a wonderful job in taking DCC’s stewardship to a strong position! We look forward to building upon his accomplishments and growing our stewardship team once again. We wish Kyle the best and look forward to working him in his new role at MCHT! Kyle’s last day is August 28th, join us at our Vining Lake Celebration and wish him farewell!
