Ever wonder how to tell trees and shrubs apart in winter? Join field botanist Louise Barteau and Maine Master Naturalist Cathy Lookabaugh for a late winter walk at Middle River Park to look at the buds, bark, shape, and habitat of some of our common local native trees and shrubs. Along the way we will share some natural history stories of local native plants and highlight the roles they play in local ecology. Waterproof shoes suggested.
