Calling all Downeast youth ages 7-9! Join us for a February Vacation Winter Snow Camp! Each day will be full of outdoor activities, games, and exciting hands on learning opportunities.

Program dates: Monday, February 20th to Thursday Feb 23rd, 2022

Activities include:
• Forest Ecology
• Wildlife tracking
• Winter Crafts
• Games
• Storytime
• Snow forts and sledding

Location/Time: The program is held at Middle River Park, Machias and runs Monday, February 20th to Thursday Feb 23rd, 2022. Drop off is from 8:30am-9am. Pick up is from 12-12:30pm each day.

Camp is free! But registration is required. Signups will be limited to the first 10 participants that register (Ages 7-9). Camp is now full, please sign up for the waitlist incase a participant withdraws.

Participants should dress warmly and plan to be outdoors each day for the entire time period. A “What to Bring” list will be provided.

Weather Policy
DCC will cancel camp when weather presents an unsafe condition for participants. Participants will be notified the evening prior. Due to the unpredictability of the weather, DCC reserves the right to cancel camp at any point when it is deemed unsafe. Participants will be notified of cancellations via the contact info provided at registration. Camp may also be cancelled depending on the snow conditions.
