We are excited to announce that we are kicking off a Nature Scavenger Hunt Challenge!

We have a list of 25 items for you to discover at any of our DCC properties. Maybe you’ll be able to find everything at one preserve or maybe you’ll have to head out to a few different trails.

• A sign of Spring
• A colorful rock
• An insect with wings
• A feather
• A seashell
• A tree with hoes
• The beach
• A spider web
• An eagle
• A piece of sea-glass
• The sunrise or sunset
• A thorny stem
• A path of bog bridging
• Moss
• A mountain top view
• Animals tracks
• The ocean
• A piece of driftwood
• A bird chirping
• A birch tree
• A living creature
• A stream or river
• Something to recycle

Share with us your photos #dccnaturehunt or share a completed list of what you found (and where!) by email or social media by April 15th. Completers of the challenge with be entered into a raffle to receive a prize!
