Celebrate the full moonrise with a hike to the summit of Klondike Mountain Preserve in Lubec. Join us for this spectacular event where we’ll hike to the summit to watch the sunset over Cobscook Bay and the moonrise over Campobello Island and the Lubec Village just a few moments later. We’ll meet in the parking area at the preserve at 6pm and start our ascent up the mountain by 6:15pm.

This loop trail is approximately 3/4 mile round trip. Be prepared to hike over uneven terrain on the trail and in low light conditions by bringing your own hiking stick and/or flashlight if desired. The trail to the summit has some sections that are steep and rocky as well as sections that are steep, rooted and covered in forest debris.

This event will be approximately 1.5 hours in length. Limited Space and advance registration required.
