August 8 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us at Mowry Beach for a contest to see who can pull the most Japanese knotweed. Volunteers will pull as much of the invasive plant as they can, and the winner will win a prize. Please register in advance here.

What to Bring: Volunteers should bring water and a snack. After the competition, pizza will be provided for lunch on the beach! Tools and gloves will be provided by DCC, but participants may bring their own if you have them.

Date is subject to change due to weather conditions. If adverse weather conditions are predicted to occur during a volunteer day, an email notice will be provided with the rescheduled date no later than one day prior to the activity.
