Annual Plant Sale

Come re-stock your garden at Downeast Coastal Conservancy’s Annual Plant Sale!
Date: Saturday, June 6thTime: 11am-1pm
Location: Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Whiting Office Parking Lot (at Whiting Corner – the intersection of Route 1 and Route 189 that leads to Lubec)
You can help support the plant sale by donating excess plants from your own garden! Please email sherrie.sprangers@gmail.com with the subject line: “DCC Plant Sale” to coordinatepick up or drop off prior to the sale. Plant donations can also be dropped off at the sale location on the morning of the sale at 10am.
Please note that everyone’s health and safety is a priority. Please help us keep the sale a safe space for all by following these health guidelines:
- Practice social distancing: Stay at least six feet away from other people who do not live in your household.
- Don’t linger: Shorten your stay when shopping
- Bring a mask: When you’re in the vicinity of others, even with six feet of separation, a mask will help keep everyone safer.
- Don’t touch: Avoid touching signs, tables, and plants (that you do intend to purchase) to minimize the potential spread of the virus.
- If you’re sick, stay home: It puts others at risk when you leave home while exhibiting symptoms related to COVID-19, or if you have recently been exposed to the virus.
