Marsh Island Beach Cleanup

Join us on Friday, June 26th, for a beach cleanup at Marsh Island in South Addison!
This small, 5 acre island offers panoramic ocean views as well as views of Cape Split across the entrance to Eastern Harbor. The island is connected to the main land by a causeway, so it is accessible by land. We will meet at the causeway and walk to shore from there. Marsh Island is located in South Addison, just before the South Addison Town Landing.
We will have gloves, but you are encouraged to bring your own. We will have bags for collecting trash. We will start at 9:30am, join us for as long as you would like!
Directions: From U.S. Route 1, turn South onto ME-187/Indian River Road at Wild Blueberry Land. In 2 miles, turn right on Wescogus Road. Continue about 1.5 miles and turn left on East Side Road. Follow East Side Road about 6 miles and turn right onto Mooseneck Road. Continue on Mooseneck Road 1.5 miles, then stay straight on Narrows Rd. In approximately .7 miles, stay right on Marsh Island Rd. In approximately .5 miles, stay left on Marsh Island Rd., the causeway will be to the left before the Lobster Pound.
