Join Downeast Coastal Conservancy’s (DCC) Colin Brown and Downeast Salmon Federation’s (DSF) Kirstin Underwood for a birding walk along Schoppee Marsh in Machias.  The walk will be on even, level terrain along the Downeast Sunrise Trail, as we go in search of marsh-loving species, shorebirds, and other springtime nesters.  This walk will help DCC and DSF establish crucial baseline data for upcoming salt marsh restoration projects, and we are looking for citizen-science volunteers. Participants should meet at the parking area across from Pat’s Pizza at 7 am.
