This Earth Day, we are looking to make a big impact on the lands we all love! Join us for simultaneous Earth Day cleanups all over Washington County. We’ll have a volunteer leader at each site with trash bags and gloves, you just need to bring the volunteer spirit.

Location Options (pick whichever works best for you!):

• Downtown Machias – Join us for a town-wide cleanup in Machias. Middle River Park will be the central meeting point, and then we will break into area assignments with mini teams spreading out around Machias. Great option for group registrations! 
• Pike Lands Preserve, Lubec – Join us at Pike Land Preserve in an effort to remove trash and debris from Huckin’s Beach.
• Reversing Falls Preserve, Pembroke – Join us at Reversing Falls Preserve to cleanup the park and shoreline.

Time: We will meet at each location at 9am. There be a volunteer leader on site with more information.

What to bring: Water and a Snack. Trash bags and gloves will be provided by DCC, but participants may bring their own if you have them!

Date is subject to change due to weather conditions. If adverse weather conditions are predicted to occur during a volunteer day, an email notice will be provided with the rescheduled date no later than one day prior to the activity.
