Join Washington County UMaine Extension 4-H and DCC for two mini workshops on Orienteering & Geocaching!
Learn the basics of maps and navigate the field sections of Middle River Park. Learn about how satellites work and practicing using a GPS unit. Test your compass skills within in the park and set off on an adventure using a GPS unit to hunt for geocaches!
Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions; activities in the second session will be an extension of topics covered in the first session.
Geared for families with youth ages 5-15.
